this kueh is also known as 'kueh tahi minyak', with 'tahi minyak' literally meaning 'oil faeces' and referring to the residual crumbs from stir-frying coconut milk, which are used as topping for this kueh. the leftover coconut oil from stir-frying is then used to cook the kueh, made mainly out of mung bean/green bean flour.
